The majestic Arenal Volcano is located within the Arenal Conservation Area. With more than five hundred thousand hectares, it preserves 16 reserves between the mountains of Tilarán and Guanacaste. This is one of the areas of Costa Rica with the greatest natural and biological wealth, it also has an impressive geological complexity, such as the Arenal volcano, which is the volcano with the most perfect cone of all the volcanoes in the world.

Río Celeste owes its name to the fact that the color of its waters is milky turquoise that results from a chemical reaction, where the Buena Vista and Roble rivers converge, which have different chemical characteristics, which is why they create the color. This place is known as “Teñidero” and is hidden in the middle of the rainforest characteristic of the area. From this point the river with its almost dreamlike color flows through the forest without losing its color even near its waterfall.

The rocky bottom of our coasts is the perfect home for a wide variety of marine life, some of which are seasonal in this area (giant manta rays or humpback whales). White tip sharks, different types of rays, moray eels, nudibranchs, angel fish, butterfly fish as well as large schools of colorful tropical fish are often observed. Surf lesson in Playa Tamarindo, one of the best beaches for surfing especially for beginners because the waves are long and soft, likewise, depending on the swell, the wave can become a bit strong, which gives some difficulty to the student. Our surf instructors are highly trained to carry out this activity, they have years of experience and ISA certification.
